Assistant General Manager & Head Coach
My goal for the 2021 season is to showcase the best product the Peach State Cats fans have ever seen. My vision is on the players and fans. Professional athletes are Stars no matter the level. My vision is to give these guys a professional playing experience during their time with the Cats. Lots of Practice, meetings, film sessions, community involvement, and of course a Championship.
During my professional playing days with the Marion Blueracers and Dayton Wolfpack, I witnessed those exact things. While this is my first time serving as Head Coach of a professional football team, or any team. I expect a Fast-paced high scoring offense. As far as defense goes, I expect domination upfront and physicality on the back end.
I’m a football fanatic. I’ve been blessed to have assisted multiple Head Coaches professionally and on amateur levels. Assisting Coach TJ with the Fairburn Flames 14u team, coach Myles at Carver High, Coach Edwards at Forest Park High now coach Stephens at South Atlanta High and recently assisting Coach Hammonds with the Dalton Danger Semi-pro football team.
The PSCats has a great team owner in Tim Freeman, a man granting men the opportunity to play and coach the game we all love on a platform that could further their professional careers as it has given me the opportunity to further mine. We have a nice coaching staff that I believe will dress the best 23 players come gameday.
Another vision of mine is to have all fans come meet and greet the players pre-game and post-game, to show our appreciation for their continued support, and to add priceless value to their overall experience (autographs and pictures will be permitted) while practicing social distancing win or lose.
My 2021 Motto is Family, Community, Football
